Dr. Sarah Losby, D.C.
Owner | Chiropractor
Dr. Sarah Losby is the mom to Levi (4), Gwen (2) and Roman (5 mo). She is married to Mark and they moved to Columbia, SC in 2010 to open Capital City Chiropractic, a Max Living Health Center. Capital City Chiropractic is the largest female owned Chiropractic office in the country serving over 1,200 patients each week.
Dr. Sarah was Valedictorian of her class at Palmer University and is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. She is passionate about seeing people unlock their full potential and live a MAX LIFE. She is an expert of natural health for families and is an incredible resource to thousands of others as a coach, mentor and advocate for mothers in prenatal, postnatal and pediatric care for women and children - she is also known as THE MOM DOC!
You will often find Dr. Sarah hosting a moms group at her house, making house calls to patients who can't make it into their office and making weekly trips to Whole Foods (she should buy some stock in it).

Dr. Katie Parks, D.C.
Dr. Katie Parks is the Lead Chiropractor in the Capital City Chiropractic office in Columbia, South Carolina. Dr. Parks is entering her 4th year in the office in which sees over 700 patients per week. She is married to Perry Parks and they have two wonderful children Boaz who is four, and Lola who is one year old.
Dr. Katie Parks graduated from Life University in 2013 earning her Doctorate of Chiropractic Degree. Dr. Parks is also certified in Webster Technique, and is a current member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. She is extremely passionate about serving the families of Columbia. Dr. Parks loves teaching the community about the true meaning of health from childbirth to adulthood. There is no greater joy than seeing the God-given potential restored in a person.
Dr. Rebekah Byxbe
Dr. Rebekah Byxbe moved to Columbia, SC in January of 2017 to join the MaxLiving team. Finishing her externship with the office in March, she joined the team full-time after graduating from Life University in Atlanta, GA.
A leader in her class, Dr. Byxbe served as the President of the MaxLiving student club at Life University for over a year. She is currently a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, and passionate about pediatric care in her community.
Prior to attending chiropractic school, Dr. Byxbe spent 2 years overseas serving in full-time ministry. She has a heart for underprivileged areas, reaching people in her community and around the world by meeting needs and sharing the truth of the gospel. After combining her passion with education, she is on a mission to bring the truth of health and healing to the Columbia area for those who would not otherwise have access.
On her off time, you will often find Dr. Byxbe at a local coffee shop, catching a movie, or eating at a new restaurant around town.
Dr. Aleisha Taylor, D.C.
Dr. Aleisha is originally from Michigan where she was born and raised. She graduated with a B.S. in Exercise Science from Western Michigan University in 2009 and then graduated from Life University in September 2014 with Doctor of Chiropractic degree.
Dr. Aleisha is married to her husband Ryan and has two children, Callie (11 y.o.), Addilyn (7 mos.) and a Boston Terrier pup!
She loves helping people of all ages allow their bodies to heal properly in order to reach their true health potential, letting them live a greater quality of life than they thought possible.
She enjoys spending time on Lake Murray, traveling, spending time with family.

Mark Losby is the Executive Officer of Capital City Chiropractic and MaxLiving Lexington. He is passionate about seeing families make great health choices that they are excited about. He is married to Dr. Sarah Losby, and is the father of Levi (4), Gwen (2) and Roman (5 mo). Mark has his bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, but he fell in love with MaxLiving in 2008. He left is Engineering and Management career to open Capital City Chiropractic in 2010 and try to see the city change the way it makes health decisions.
Jodi Jacobs is the office manager for our MaxLiving Harbison. She is passionate about loving and encouraging others to live life to their God-given potential, and also very passionate about seeing people come off medications that have bound them with no hope. For years, she thought the Lord was calling her to the nursing field, but when she relocated from Ohio to SC in 2011 and found MaxLiving, she's never looked back. She's been a part of furthering the mission of seeing lives transformed from the inside out since 2013.
Peter Lown is a certified X-ray Tech and Chiropractic Assistant at MaxLiving Harbison. He is fervent in connecting patients to a better way of managing their health. Having started as a patient in 2011, he joined the MaxLiving Columbia team in 2012. Peter delights in spending time with his spouse and two girls.
